Both Bolsover-area bridges operate on the same schedule. Sunset Cove Marina is between the two bridges at KM 284 if you need to tie up. Port of Call Marina and Motel is nearby as well.
Same cable hazards as Bolsover Swing Bridge. Sand bar extends into channel near KM 290.6 from NW shore close SW of Talbot River — marked by buoy.
Talbot Lock (Lock 38) is 1.6 km downstream of Bolsover Lock, with a lift of 14 ft. Three more locks (Portage, Thorah, Gamebridge) follow before Lake Simcoe.
