Overview — Ranney Falls Swing Bridge

The Ranney Falls Swing Bridge is located adjacent to the Ranney Falls flight locks (Locks 11 and 12) on the Trent River, about 1.6 km south of Campbellford. The flight locks here provide a combined lift of 48 ft, one of the largest elevation changes on the waterway.

Coordinate bridge opening with the lock staff at Locks 11/12. Ferris Provincial Park on the east shore close south of the locks offers camp sites, picnic areas, and a launching ramp. Campbellford, about 1.6 km north, has full services.
