Nearest provisioning: Trenton is approximately 25 km west with full provisioning. This is a remote section of the Bay of Quinte with limited nearby services.
Scenic notes: A quiet bay in the eastern Bay of Quinte. Typical low wooded shoreline. The appeal here is solitude rather than dramatic scenery — fewer boats find their way this far east along the bay.
Miller Bay is in the eastern Bay of Quinte, further east from Sandy Cove and Ox Point. Lock 1 at Trenton is approximately 25 km west and lifts 1.5 m (5 ft). This is local cruising territory well removed from the main TSW transit route.
Approach with caution as depths are not confirmed for this anchorage. Sound your way in and be prepared to relocate if the bottom is unsuitable. The protection from all but north winds makes this a reasonable choice when northerlies are not in the forecast. If north winds are expected, Sandy Cove or Ox Point offer alternatives with different protection profiles. Verify your position and swinging room before settling in for the night.
Depths are not confirmed — sound your way in carefully. North wind exposure means seas from across the bay can enter the anchorage. Limited cruiser reports mean hazards may exist that are not documented here. Treat this as an exploratory stop and keep a cautious watch.
