Fourth option in the Percy Reach cluster. If Blue Hole and Green Acres are taken, try here before resorting to German Landing. It's an easy dinghy ride to the Lock 8 wall, which makes it a practical overnight even if you want to walk the lock grounds. Pet friendly — good open area for a dog run. Watch the charts carefully — there are 4-foot spots in this anchorage that will catch you off guard if you're not paying attention.
CAUTION: Pay close attention to your charts in this area — there are reported 4-foot shoal areas within the anchorage. Verify depths carefully with your depth sounder before setting the hook. Not suitable for deeper-draft vessels without careful sounding.
