Green Acres is a weed-free anchorage area in Percy Reach between markers T127 and T129 on the south side of the channel. The key advantage here is the clean bottom — move towards shore from the channel until you first encounter weeds, then anchor just outside the weed line in deeper water.

The draw here is simple: no weeds. In a section of the Trent where weed beard is a constant annoyance, Green Acres delivers clean bottom. It's close to the channel though, so expect wake during the day. Best as a lunch stop or a conditional overnight in calm conditions.
