Gloucester Pool is the final anchoring opportunity before Georgian Bay, where the Severn River widens into a lake-like expanse of coves, islets, and sheltered anchorages.
Whites Bay is particularly attractive with a waterfall and swimming beach at its head. Red and green buoys lead to the lake's western end and the last lock on the waterway (Lock 45, Port Severn).
