Pigeon Lake offers several anchoring areas: east of South Birch Point, along Back Channel, North Point, and Birch Point. Nogies Creek Bay, Alpine Village, and Snake Island are options for boaters with superior navigation skills who can explore all the way to Big Bald Lake.

Mixed protection depending on chosen spot. Back Channel and east of South Birch Point offer good wind breaks. Open lake areas are exposed to fetch from multiple directions — choose your spot based on forecast.
The rocks south of Big Island are charted with precise coordinates — mark them on your plotter. The Back Channel area has the most options. Nogies Creek Bay is an adventure for experienced navigators only.
