Trent Port Marina is a world-class municipal marina operated by the City of Quinte West, situated at the mouth of the Trent River where it meets the Bay of Quinte. With 375 floating slips accommodating vessels from 30 to 100 feet, it is the largest and best-equipped facility at the TSW's southern terminus. The marina sits immediately adjacent to Lock 01, making it the natural first stop for boaters entering the waterway from Lake Ontario via the Bay of Quinte or Murray Canal. Trent Port Marina has earned Blue Flag certification — one of only nine Canadian marinas to hold this prestigious international eco-label — and a Boating Ontario Clean Marine Diamond Elite rating, the highest eco-certification available. It also serves as a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) marine port of entry and telephone reporting site.

The marina is easily accessible from the entrance to the Trent River. The marina fairways are wide and well-marked, with floating docks providing stable berthing. Approach from the Bay of Quinte following the buoyed channel into the Trent River; the marina entrance is on the west bank immediately south of Lock 01. Docking assistance is provided by uniformed attendants to all incoming vessels — call or radio ahead.

Competitive fuel pricing. The fuel dock just north of the marina can be tight for vessels over 65 ft with wide beam. Complimentary day docking available at the fuel station for boaters exploring Quinte West.
Trent Port Marina sits at Mile 0 of the Trent-Severn Waterway — the very start (or finish) of the 386 km canal system connecting Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay. For northbound Great Loop cruisers, this is the staging marina before the first lock. The Trent River runs northeast through a series of close-spaced locks. The Bay of Quinte opens south and east, connecting to Lake Ontario via the Murray Canal or around Prince Edward County.

Gold standard marina. Staff meets you at the dock, gated entry with key cards, private shower pods, free laundry (2 sets), free WiFi, onsite marine store (Watercraft Marine). Metro grocery is a 3-minute walk. Multiple restaurants in downtown Trenton. CBSA telephone customs reporting on site. Blue Flag and Boating Ontario Clean Marine certified. One of the best anywhere on the Great Loop by virtually every account.
The fuel dock is a separate facility approximately 300m upstream of the main marina near the mouth of the Trent River. Call VHF 68 before crossing to the fuel dock to ensure staff is present. Boats over 65 ft should be cautious due to the fuel dock location relative to the breakwall. Enter the main marina by looking for the giant red 'I' marker and enter the gap. Odd-numbered slips are on the north side, even-numbered on the south.
Gas and diesel at the adjacent fuel dock (refurbished 2022 with new above-ground tanks and dispensers). Call VHF 68 first. Portable pump-out also available.
Excellent overnight. Quiet inside the gated marina. Close to downtown. Book ahead for July and August — this marina fills up. Bring your boat insurance documents as they will request a copy on check-in.
