Marina Overview

Sportsman's Inn Marina is a full-service resort marina in Killarney Channel, directly opposite Killarney Mountain Lodge. With 140 slips accommodating vessels over 100 feet, Shell gas and diesel, pump-out, pool, and restaurant, it is a solid alternative or overflow option when KML is full. Slips are on both sides of the channel — the George Island side (east) has newer, wider slips.

🧭 Captain’s Assessment

Good alternative to KML when the lodge is full, and it often is in July/August. George Island slips are noticeably better than mainland side — request them specifically. The $10 resort fee includes use of KML pool and grounds via water taxi. Fuel noted by some 2023 reviewers as the most expensive on the entire Loop — price shop if budget matters.

⚓ Approach & Docking Tips

Same channel as KML. Sportsman's Inn is on the south side. George Island slips are across the channel to the east — you'll need a water taxi to access KML amenities from George Island but the slips are worth it.
